IND Distribution showcased Porsche 918 Spyder with HRE P101 in Gloss Black and Porsche looks just fabulous on these specially designed sets of HRE P101 forged wheels. HRE Performance Wheels is an American alloy wheel manufacturer, based in California and has been around since 1979. Their decades of experience in engineering have made them as a leader in the wheel industry and one of the sought after name in the automotive aftermarket.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is a mid-engined plug in hybrid sports car powered by naturally aspirated 4.6L V8 engine punching 608hp with two electric motors delivering an additional 279hp for combined output of 887hp. The car has a top speed of 340 Km/hr (210 mph) and can accelerate 0 -100 Km/hr in just 2.6 seconds.
We already know that Porsche 918 Spyder is limited edition hybrid sports car and only 918 units were manufactured and all are officially sold, this one in the picture carries chassis no 512. We already saw ‘brushed dark clear’ finish HRE P101 forged wheels on Weissach 918 Spyder but IND Distribution has first time used HRE P101 in Gloss Black series on this particular Porsche 918 Spyder model.
The Gloss Black finish makes the wheel look very noble and from the images, it looks like the front wheels are 20 × 9.5 inch and rear 21 × 12.5 inches with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The exact wheel dimension and other modification details are not yet published, but as per the information available on the IND distribution website, HRE P101 Set – Porsche 918 Spyder could cost you around $150000.
The other details regarding lowering suspension, performance tuning and type of sport exhaust system are currently not available but we will update you as soon as they are available. But one thing is sure that this 918 Spyder in black and white dual colour tone looks absolutely stunning on Gloss Black HRE wheels.
