Lamborghini on fire

Few days back, we have seen some images of completely destroyed Lamborghini Aventador Roadster in a fire somewhere on the street of Dubai and now a detailed YouTube video has emerged online showing what went wrong with this beast.

The model destroyed in this fire is a limited edition Lamborghini Aventador Roadster LP720-4 50 Anniversario and one of the 100 units produced worldwide. As only 100 units are produced worldwide, it’s rare to see this beast in flesh on the road, even by Lamborghini standards. The 50 Anniversario model features large extended air intakes and an aerodynamic rear spoiler, unique interior trim, special paint work , an enlarged rear diffuser and expansive meshwork that improves heat transfer from the engine bay. This beast is equipped with the 6.5 litre V12 calibrated to produce 720HP making it powerful than the Aventador LP700-4. With its lightning fast ISR transmission, the 50 Anniversario model sprint 0-62mph in just 2.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 350 Km/hr.

Yellow has been a popular choice of colour for most of the Lamborghini owners and the model destroyed here in the video features the same Giallo Maggio (May Yellow) colour. The person filming this video was driving another car directly behind this Aventador and from the video we can see that the car caught fire at the traffic light due to an excessive revving. Its look like, initially driver of Aventador was completely unaware of this situation, but repeated honks and shouts from the other motorists made him realize that the rear of his car was engulfed in flames.
