The 2015 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR, is the first Land Rover product of Jaguar Land Rover’s in-house Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division. It is the first Land Rover to wear the new high performance SVR badge which stands for Special Vehicle Racing. The vehicle made its public debut in UK at Goodwood Festival of Speed in June 2014. A camouflaged prototype of the 550HP Range Rover Sport SVR has already enthrilled spectators with its sporty look and its racecar-inspired exhaust note.
During testing and development, the SVR recorded a Nürgburgring Nordschleife lap time of just 8 minutes 14 seconds, one of the fastest times ever recorded by a standard production SUV.The most powerful vehicle to ever come from Land Rover, SVR is equipped with 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine tuned to produce 550HP while its 8-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive chassis have been optimized to complement the astonishing performance in any weather condition.
The new SVR is designed with light weight aluminium structure while retaining luxury and off road capabilities for which range rover is world known. The SVR is fitted with permanent four-wheel drive and a two-speed transfer case, with a low-range option for demanding terrain, and a 50/50 percent torque split front-to-rear.

This Range Rover has one of the best interiors with soft luxurious leathers touch on the dashboard, steering wheel, doors and distinctive leather sports seats. Dashboard is elegant and futuristic with easy access to all controls. Other distinctive features include larger air intakes in the front bumper for efficient engine cooling, cross-linked four-corner air suspension, 21-inch alloy wheels and all-season 275/45 R21 tyres.
