Lamborghini has unveiled the Air Force inspired limited edition Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 Avio in Geneva today. This car will be available in five different exterior colour options named after coat of arms in the Italian Air Force – Ble Grifo, Grigio Falco, Grigio Vulcano, Grigio Nibbio and Verde Turbine. The exterior will also feature Air Force livery along with matte stripes in contrasting white or grey.
Inspired by the rich history of aeronautical engineering of Italian Air force, the Hurcan Avio comes with a dedicated colour palette and a new on-board standard features. The Military Matte Blue exterior with “IL Tricolore” Air Force logo represents the tribute to the Italian Air Force legacy.
The Huracan Avio features specially crafted interior with luxurious ambience and the leather covered seats with embroidered logo. Inspired by the Fighter aircraft, the other additional features include cruise control, GPS navigation and the suspension lifting system to give a feel of flying on the road.
The LP610-4 Avio is powered by naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine that produces 602hp and 560Nm of torque at 6500rpm. With a dry weight of 1422 kg and an electronically controlled all wheel drive, the Avio can sprint from 0 -100 km/hr (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and can hit a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).
The production of Huracan Avio is limited to only 250 units, with deliveries expected to start in the summer. The Huracan Avio will cost around £200,000 excluding taxes in the European market.
