With the increase in number of oil-powered vehicles around the world, it has become essential to preserve this non-renewable source of energy. South Korea, a country with the largest per capita vehicle oil consumption is facing the worst crisis ever. There is 1 car for every 2.5 South Koreans. Other than building an efficient public transport system, the government could not think of any other way to preserve this fossil fuel.
“SAVE OIL, SAVE TIME, SAVE MONEY”
This was the tagline adapted by a South Korean oil company named S-OIL. Every South Korean spends an ample amount of time wandering for parking spaces. During this time, a single vehicle wastes almost a liter of oil every month. S-OIL came up with a HERE BALLOON campaign, which was very simple, yet an efficient way to resolve this problem.
