Nissan Terrano Review & Specifications

Nissan-Terrano

Nissan Terrano is the latest vehicle from the Japanese auto manufacturer in the utility segment market in India. This new vehicle is based on its French sibling model, the Renault Duster, but looks a lot different since Nissan uses its own SUV design philosophy. Having said that we are not ignoring the fact, that Terrano is basically Renault Duster beneath the skin. This product is brought into the fastest growing segment in the Indian market with just not the decent looks and features but also with the platform that’s already made a good base in the market.

Exterior

The Nissan Terrano has indeed put in a lot of effort to design its exterior so as to have a clear distinguition from the Duster model. Almost every panel on the body including the hood, doors and the tailgate have Nissan signature style on it. The front end of the vehicle has a large grille with lot of chrome plating and trapezoidal strips on either sides of the bold logo. Headlamps that nicely blends into the grille is much sleeker because of the black bezel surround shape given to it.  The bonnet gets double crease lines which starts from the front grille and is carried unto the end of the same, this gives the vehicle a more masculine look.

A classy set of diamond cut 16 inch machined alloy wheels, not only gives sturdy looks to the vehicle but also gives immense stability to the same. Dimensionally the Terrano measures 4331mm in length, 1822mm in width and an overall height (including fixed roof rails) of 1671mm.

The interiors displays a posh ambiance, which will absolutely dazzle the customers. The top end variants gets seats that are covered with premium leather upholstery, while the other variants might get top quality fabric upholstery. The center fascia of top and mid variants gets defined with glossy piano black color over it, and the remaining variant gets a matt black finish to it. The dashboard design consists of air conditioner vents along with a large and brilliant instrument cluster. To make the interiors look more subtle and classic, Nissan went for dual tone beige and black color scheme. The door trims are also interesting with beige color finish, top quality fabric used and the decorative strip added looks perfect on them. Also the Nissan Terrano  has quite a few in-cabin storage spaces as well as map pockets, seat back pockets, cup and bottle holders in the door and in between the front seats, a rear center arm rest with storage and holders is also said to add to comfort level of this SUV.
