Volvo XC60 is the new entry level variant from the famous Swedish automobile manufacturer, Volvo. It is the new luxury compact SUV which is stuffed with advanced technologies, comfort, performance and style. This innovative car from Volvo has been awarded “SUV of the year” in U.K., “best SUV over $40,000” in Australia, “Paul Pietsch Award for City Safety” in Germany, has reached the Indian soil to work out their magic as a completely comfortable and secure SUV. The ex-showroom price of this SUV ranges from Rs. 35.25-42.65 lakhs. The XC60 has a coinciding technology as that of the Land RoverFreelander and shares the platform of Volvo Y20 version.
The front design of the Volvo XC60 is what gives them a majestic crossover profile. The grille has the logo spreading across them. The lower grille has a design opposite to that of the upper region. It is designed with a honeycomb design. The headlights are in the shape of the human eye which gives a notion that the car is looking back at you. The fog lamps at the front is quite small when compared to its competitors. A blended compact outlook of Volvo V70 and XC70 with a minor change is what you will observe from the front view of the car. The D5 variant comes with manual and six speed geartronic transmission which can produce a maximum power of 205bhp at 4000rpm and a maximum torque of 420Nm at 1500-3250rpm.
