General motors may be well known around the world and they might sell a significant amount of cars but as far as the Indian auto market Chevrolet hasn't fared well in the past few years. To bring up the sales figures Chevrolet took advantage of the Delhi auto-expo portraying a wide variety of cars along with some new launches that may hit the streets sooner or later.
Here is a comprehensive review of Chevrolet's launches and showcased vehicles this auto-show.
It has been quite a while since Chevrolet was active in the SUV segment. The Chevy Captiva was the last SUV sold in India, So here is Chevy's answer to the Ford Endavour and the Toyota Fortuner. From the external physics and looks it can be said that this SUV is rugged and make a bold statement growling at its competitors. 2) Chevrolet beat activ +
The activ + is nothing but a highly modified version of the beat. A sporty hatchback that was Chevrolet's cash cow in India is now expected with a fresh look with some design cues seen in the concept version.
Probably just like the Sail UVA a Manchester United special edition of the Beat may also be launched.
3) Chevrolet Esentia
As per today's requirements/needs of the customer a sub 4 meter sedan is more preferred and with cars like Amaze, Xcent, Aspire, Dzire etc Chevrolet too doesn't want to be let out of the competition hence the Esentia, Official specs and details have not yet been launched but from its looks it can be a potential sub 4 meter compact sedan.
4) Cruze facelift
The premium & powerful sedan from Chevrolet is undergoing a complete makeover now, with better safety and features the Cruze is expected to be relaunched shortly.
The Camaro was just showcased but it wont make it to India this year.
6) C7 corvette
Same goes with the corvette it was just on showcase from GM's global cars but wont be driven on Indian roads this year.
7) Chevy's Colorado Pickup
The pickup truck too was a selection from GM's global collection which was only on showcase but not a car that was going to be launched in India.
This was all for Chevrolet with a good line up of cars and showcases hope they year 2016 is a good year with better sales figures for GM.
