Brabus just presented details of their an extensive tuning programme for the new Mercedes AMG C63 S to be premiered at the 2015 IAA Frankfurt Motor Show later this month. Highlights of this tuning programme are increasing in rated power output from 510HP to 600HP and Max torque from 700 Nm to 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) between 1750 to 4500 rpm. This programme involves both visual and performance oriented changes which make this car really beast on the road.
We all know that Mercedes AMG C63 S is known for its sporty and agile appearance with powerful Biturbo 4.0-liter V8 engine which develops whopping 510HP provides breathtaking propulsion. On the other hand Brabus is high-performance aftermarket tuning company which specializes in Mercedes-Benz, Smart, and Maybach vehicles and it used its highly skilled engineers and state of the art test rig technology to develop a performance boost kit that increases power output of turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine by 90HP. The Brabus has developed PowerXtra B40 control module which increases the boost pressure and updates the engine controls with new mapping for injection and ignition. As a result, total power output grows from 375KW/510HP to 441KW/600HP and peak torque from 700Nm to 800Nm between 1750 rpm to 4500 rpm .This beast propels from rest to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 300 Km/hr (186 mph).
Apart from performance enhancement, Brabus has developed a carbon fiber body kit to give this beast a sporty-elegant appearance. This aerodynamic body kit includes new front splitter, air outlets in the front fenders, side air intakes, a rear diffuser and rear spoiler. All components of aerodynamic kit are wind tunnel tested to enhance the dynamic characteristics and manufactured from clear – coated carbon with a matte or shiny surface seal for visual appeal.
The Brabus C63 S rolls on 20-inch king sized BRABUS Monoblock T five-spoke wheels which are shod with either continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA high performance tires of sizes 255/30 ZR 20 at the front and 275/30 ZR 20 on the rear axle.
Brabus also offers a choice of interior refinements tailored to customer preferences to provide ultimate luxury with performance. The show car will feature all-black fine leather interior with mandarin-colored seams and all chrome body parts are painted in the same black color as the vehicle.
